Diane had a transcendent near-death/lifeafterlife experience while drowning during a white water river rafting accident in 1971 at age 30 (see “A Near-Death Experience Beyond the Veil”). Seven years after her experience, in an effort to understand what had happened to her (because nobody talked about these experiences back then), she returned to education to study psychology. She later became a student of the Ancient Mystery Schools, parapsychology and metaphysics, hypnotherapy and past-life regression. For over 3 decades she has been a spiritual teacher, counselor, minister, hospice volunteer, speaker and author in Florida, California and Oregon.
Diane’s soul mission is to spread the message that we don’t die… only our bodies die, consciousness (our soul) continues beyond the death of the body. This goes against many traditional beliefs that death is the end of life, but now we have scientific evidence that consciousness continues after death so it’s time to expand this conversation beyond the limits formerly imposed by religion and scientism. Diane has been laying the groundwork through her web site, BeyondtheVeil.net since 1996, through her writings (available titles under “ebooks by Diane Goble”), and is now in the process of migrating her web site to this blog where she will continue her mission by writing about the many fascinating aspects of death and dying she encounters from a near-death experiencer’s perspective.

We’re all here to become enlightened and raise the consciousness of Humanity to Unconditional Love. It starts within you.
A compassionate community will not be achieved only through prayer; I pray myself, but I accept its limitations. We need to take action to develop compassion, to create inner peace within ourselves and to share that inner peace with our family and friends. Peace and warm-heartedness can then spread through the community just as ripples radiate out across the water when you drop a pebble into a pond.
